Basically it works like this. Your Air conditioner removes heat from your home and will exhaust it out thru your outdoor fan. You can feel warm air coming off your A/C when it runs outside. We take that heat and direct it into your pool. It comes with a controller that waits for your A/C to start. It will control the pool pump to run with the A/C and it will sample the water temperature. If the pool is cold, it will direct the heat into the water. If your pool is up to temp, it automatically will switch directing the heat back into the air.
